iCyt Repeats Honor as a Best Place to Work in Illinois!
June 10, 2008

iCyt is pleased to join the rare mix of companies that have won the prestigious "Best Places to Work in Illinois" two years in a row. Selected as one of the top 20 firms in 2007, iCyt is proud to be one of the few repeat winners in 2008.
This honor is based on a comprehensive review of the workplace environment and practices of iCyt by the Best Companies Group of Harrisburg, PA. The award criteria included an in-depth, confidential survey of all employees, covering such topics as career advancement, compensation, and organizational strategy. The statewide competition is co-sponsored by The Business Ledger, the Illinois Chapter of the Society of Human Resource Managers and The Illinois State Chamber of Commerce.
"We are pleased to recognize the best places to work in our state," said James E. Elsener, president of Ledger Publishing, Inc., and publisher of The Business Ledger. "The quality of the top firms in each category is extremely high and we're confident that they take great pride in being selected."
iCyt was honored at an Awards Celebration held in Oak Brook, Illinois, on June 4. Of the 20 companies named in the mid-sized company category, iCyt was one of only two downstate Illinois winners.
Gary Durack, Founder and Chief Technology Officer of iCyt, commented, "We are quite thrilled to be named one of Illinois' Best Places to Work for the second year in a row. To receive this award once is a terrific achievement, but to be recognized in this rigorous competition in back-to-back years is exceptional. Our hard-working employees are the real winners, and we thank them for their tireless contributions to our overall success."
